  • Addressed numerous technical issues related to HVAC systems, M&E operations, and energy efficiency and sustainability standards
  • Implemented energy-saving solutions, achieving annual savings of approximately VND 7 billion (equivalent to 2 million kWh of electricity, 160,000 liters of fuel, and 36,000 m³ of water per year)

05/2005–08/2016: Chief Engineer – Sheraton Hanoi Hotel (299 rooms)

  • Resolved all M&E system issues (boilers, chillers, HVAC, lighting, electrical systems, laundry, kitchen, generators, etc.) following the hotel’s closure from 1997 to 2004
  • Implemented energy and environmental management systems

08/1996–05/2005: Chief Engineer – Hanoi Daewoo Hotel

  • Five-star complex comprising a hotel (411 rooms), 193 serviced apartments, and a 15-story Grade A office building
  • Total floor area: 89,000 m²
  • Managed all technical operations across the complex (hotel, apartments, and office building)
  • Resolved all M&E system issues
  • Implemented HVAC energy-saving solutions; the hotel was the first to apply variable speed drives (VSDs) to chiller water pumps and AHU fans
  • Trained personnel in M&E systems, operations, fire prevention and firefighting, five-star hotel standards, and environmental management (ISO 14001)
